As a welcoming post, I thought it might be best to begin with identifying what is good and bad in the NCR.
Good:
1. Gatineau Park;
2. The Rideau Canal;
3. Monumental federal buildings;
4. The Byward Market and Westboro;
5. Federal cultural institutions;
6. High level of education and bilingualism.
Bad:
1. Poor urban innovation;
2. Low-density of the city;
3. Good mass transit, poor planning;
4. Overlapping jurisdicitons;
5. Minor role of patrons;
6. Weather?
